The industrial manufacturing sector has been rocked by the impact of COVID-19 on their operations. In April 2020, Canvass surveyed 100 manufacturers to understand the impact of COVID-19 on their manufacturing operations. Our survey found that by March 2020, 88% of manufacturing operations were impacted by COVID-19 restrictions. Operating during the Coronavirus pandemic, survey respondents believe that AI would have helped to sustain their operations and 68% will now invest in AI within the next two years.
